Changan Avenue, Beijing will extend 6.4 km west through the Shougang plant

Beijing Municipal Planning Commission has posted on its official website news, West Changan Avenue Extension (Old Town Avenue three Stone Road) road project planning approval. Under the program, East Chang'an Street West extension project from the ancient city of South, west through the current Shougang Dongdaemun, Shougang plant, the abundance of sand across the railway and the Yongding River, through West Sixth Ring Road, the Planning and Mentougou Sea Gate City Park water business district, continue west end of Stone Road to the present three-phase and Planning Department, Shilong Road, the road for about 6.4 kilometers.
According to reports, West Chang'an Avenue extension project has prepared three preliminary construction plan: First, through the erection of the viaduct volley direct Mentougou Shougang, and second, extending westward from the ground level, third down deep dig through underground westward.
