Kosovo caused by an explosion killed 11 injured
International Online News: northern city of Kosovska Mitrovica, 2 explosion, killing one person died and 11 were injured.
explosion occurred around 10 am local time, when hundreds of Serb residents are gathering to protest against the Government of Kosovo to open office in northern Mitrovica. According to hospital sources, the deceased was a pediatrician, the other 11 injured there is no danger. Kosovo Police have not released cause of the blast.
Serbian President Boris Tadic said on that day, the incident was a provocation to peace and Serbia. He said, "Serbia is facing a huge security threat. The blast is a provocation to peace and Serbia, but Serbia as a country able to handle the crisis will not respond to this provocation."
Tadic also urged the international community to respond to Kosovo to restore order to fulfill the UN Security Council Resolution 1244 and to stop the violence.
Serbian Foreign Minister Jeremic said that the same day, Serbia will do everything possible to calm the situation in Kosovska Mitrovica region.
Kosovo in February 2008 unilateral declaration of independence from Serbia, but Serbian side has not recognized the independence of Kosovo, the Serb population in Kosovo is not recognized Kosovo authorities.
