the New York Mercantile Exchange, September crude futures fell 2.23 U.S. dollars to 78.02 U.S. dollars a barrel, down 2.8%. Oil prices since August 3 after a 12-week high, fell by 5.5% currently. P>
gasoline futures five-week low last week, the Energy Department reported an unexpected rise in gasoline inventories. May delivery of gasoline contract fell 9 cents, to two U.S. dollars per gallon, down 4.2%. P>
