Yunnan has a new sugar production capacity of 162,000 tons over the previous year on improved pressing
Sugar Sugar Association cited the data reported in Yunnan Province, as of January 10, the total sugar production in Yunnan Province has 162,000 tons of sugar, 80,400 tons late last month, last year 147,000 tons; mean the sugar rate of 11.22%, 10.78% late last month to a year earlier 11.48%.
Yunnan is China's second largest sugar producing areas. 2010/2011 crop sugar production began from November 12.
the association said that as of January 10 sugar year, Yunnan sugar industry sales of 5.53 million tons, late last month was 3.45 million tons, 55,900 tons a year earlier; sales rate of 34.14% , late last month was 42.92%; 106,700 tons of industrial stocks, late last month, 45,900 tons, 91,100 tons a year earlier.
The association also said that as of January 10, Yunnan Province, into a total of 1,443,500 tons of sugarcane juice, 1.281 million tons last crop year; ethanol production 8623 tons, 1963 tons of alcohol sales, alcohol industry stocks 6660 tons.
