21 U.S. companies controlled by the Iranian government to impose sanctions
WASHINGTON, Aug. 3 power (AP Jiang Guopeng) 3 U.S. Treasury Department announced on being identified as controlled by the Iranian government, in Europe and Japan to impose sanctions 21 firms.
the U.S. Treasury Department said in a statement that it had identified 21 related to banking, insurance, investment, mining and engineering companies owned or controlled by the Iranian government, the Americans will be prohibited with these companies transactions.
statement said 21 companies, including two in the Belarus bank, two investment companies in Germany and in Japan, Germany, Luxembourg, Italy and Iran engineering company.
United States recently increased the intensity of sanctions against Iran. U.S. Treasury secretary on June 16 announced that Post Bank of Iran, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-related entities and individuals, the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Company-related entities such as the imposition of sanctions.
